2 Butman Moshe

Dr. Moshe Butman holds a PhD. in Computer Science from Bar Ilan University, M.Sc in Computer Science from Bar Ilan University and a B.Sc. in mechanical engineering from the Technion.
Moshe is a lecturer in CS school at the College of Management Academic Studies.
He is the Head of the Deep Learning specialization at the CS faculty.
Moshe has more than 20 years in the High-tech industry. He is CTO at Video Inform Ltd.

Research Interests and teaching focuses on Computer Vision, Deep Learning and Reinforcement Learning.

2 Khalastchi Eliahu

Dr. Eliahu Khalastchi is a Senior Lecturer and Artificial Intelligence Researcher in the Computer Science department in the College of Management Academic Studies. He holds a Ph.D. in Software and Information Systems Engineering from Ben-Gurion University (2015), M.Sc., summa cum laude, in Computer Science from Bar-Ilan University (2010), and a B.Sc. in Computer Science from Bar-Ilan University (2008).

Eliahu serves as a Lecturer since 2010 in the College of Management Academic Studies, and as an Adjunct Lecturer in Bar-Ilan University. During this time Eliahu has headed many CS courses, including; Anomaly Detection, Algorithms, Operating Systems, Computer Structure, and Programming Courses in all levels.

Eliahu is a pioneer of online courses, member of the teaching committee and served as a coordinator of Computer Science Subjects. In 2019/20 Eliahu also served as the Head Coach of National Team of Israel in the Computer Science Olympics (IOI).

Eliahu’s research interests are Artificial Intelligence, Autonomous Agents and Unmanned Vehicles, Anomaly / Fault Detection and Diagnosis with Hybrid Data-Driven and Model-Based Approaches.

2 Neuman Einat

Einat Neuman holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Bar Ilan University. Her research and teaching experience include: research at The National Institute for the Study of Health Services and Health Policy; publications in referred journals (national and international); lecturing at academic institutions, including Tel-Aviv University, The Academic College of Tel Aviv-Yaffo, Ariel University, and the Ramat-Gan College; coordination of core courses at Ariel University and at the College of Management Academic Studies.

Her motto is: “The most important tools that students acquire during their economic studies are: analytical skills, learning to address core questions, and a clear and focused presentation of the background, theory and concluding findings. Employing these tools facilitates the thorough understanding and the optimal management of processes and phenomena”.

2 Gafni Dalit

Dr. Dalit Gafni studied Economics in high-school, fell in love with the subject, and knew then that this is what she will do in life. Achieving very high grades in her Econometrics classes at the department of Economics at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem impressed her professors to offer her a teaching assistant role in the department, and later on a full teaching position. During her PhD studies she had her firstborn child, while the second one was born a day after she had submitted her dissertation.

Dr. Dalit Gafni is an associate professor (Israeli senior lecturer) of Economics and serves as vice dean of the School of Economics at the College of Management (COLMAN). She teaches statistics and econometrics and worked for various government research bodies as a leading researcher. Her work was published in leading international economics journals, including B.E. Journal of Economic Analysis and Policy, The Journal of Economic Studies and The Journal of Economic Analysis and Policy.

Dr. Gafni manages the empirical research field at the School of Economics which includes: statistics, econometrics and economic research methods, statistical software, data analyst, big data for undergraduate students and, applied econometrics for Master’s degree. Dr. Gafni is an expert in Labor Economy and her research focuses mainly on gender and ethnics wage discrimination. Dr. Gafni’s main forte is her quotative empirical economic research ability.

1 Zilcha Itzhak

Professor Itzhak Zilcha joined the School of Economics at the College of Management Academic studies in 2010 and was a Dean of the School of Economics from 2012 to 2015. He obtained a Bsc and Msc in Mathematics and then a Phd in Economics from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. Afterwards, he taught in the Department of Economics at the University of Illinois and at Cornell University. He joined the School of Economics at Tel Aviv University and taught there from 1978 until 2009. He was the Head of the School of Economics at Tel Aviv University during the period 1993-1995. He was a visiting Professor in the Economics Department at several Universities (for a few semesters in each case): Johns Hopkins University, University of Maryland, Indiana University, University of Michigan and SMU.

His main research fields are: Economics of Uncertainty, Economic Growth and Income Inequality, the Role of Information in generating Human Capital and its implications to economic growth and the income distribution. He served for many years, until recently, on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Public Economics Theory.

2 Lowenstein Lazar Ruthy

Dr. Ruthy Lowenstein Lazar, L.L.B (University of Haifa, Israel); L.L.M. (University of Ottawa); PhD. (Osgoode Hall Law School), post-doctorate fellowship (University of Haifa, Israel); Visiting Scholar (Columbia University).

Dr. Lowenstein is the Dean of the Law faculty at the College of Management, teaching and researching in the following areas: gender and criminal law, violence against women, sexual violence, victims’ rights, and law and social change.

Dr. Lowenstein was a board member in Itach-Maaki- Women Lawyers for Social Justice (2008-2014), was a member in LEAF’s (Women’s Legal Education and Action Fund in Canada) subcommittee concerning an appeal before the Canadian Supreme Court (R. v. J.A.). she was the Head of the Law School Equality Promoting Commission (2012-2013), and Member of the College’s Committee on Sexual Harassment (2013).

Dr. Lowenstein won the “OT KATAN” award for leading and promoting gender justice in the academia for 2023.

2 Zer – Gutman Limor

Dr. Limor Zer-Gutman is a leading expert in legal ethics and a senior lecturer at the Striks Faculty of Law at the College of Management Academic Studies. She is the founder and head of the Weiner Center for Legal Ethics and Professional Responsibility. She graduated from Stanford Law School (PhD), UCLA School of Law (LL.M), and Tel Aviv University, Faculty of Law (LL.B).

Dr. Zer-Gutman brings global academic excellence together with extensive practical experience. She has advised the United Nations’ Education for Justice (E4J) Integrity and Ethics initiative and created Israel’s most comprehensive database on lawyers’ professional ethics—an essential resource for practitioners, researchers, and policy-makers.

For nearly two decades, Dr. Zer-Gutman has shaped the conversation on legal ethics in Israel. She previously edited Professional Ethics, the flagship journal of the Israel Bar Association. Her legislative work includes drafting key regulatory reforms for the legal profession, from attorney advertising rules to amendments to the Israel Bar Association Law.

She served on two public committees that dealt with the legal profession in Israel. The first, in 2001, the public committee for reviewing internships and certification exams. The second, in 2013, the public committee for reviewing the Israel Bar Association. She also develops and consults on ethical codes for a wide range of public bodies and organizations, including the Prosecutor System’s Audit Commission, the Public Defender’s Youth Division, academic institutions, law clinics, and professional associations.

Research interests and teaching – Ethics and professional responsibility of lawyers and judges, the legal profession, regulation of lawyers, regulation of the judiciary, ethics education, formulating and instilling Codes of Ethics.
