Inbar Shenhar serves as the Associate Dean of the School of Communication at the College of Management, as well as the Head of Development and Head of the Content Studies Track. In her various roles, Shenhar drives the academic vision of the school, emphasizing practical academia that provides students with the tools for success.
Shenhar brings over a decade of extensive professional experience in the television industry. She has worked with leading companies such as Keshet 12, HOT, and Reshet, contributing to the development of flagship prime-time programs. Over the years, Shenhar has initiated dozens of groundbreaking collaborations with the media and digital industries, significantly strengthening the connection between academia and industry.
In her academic role, Shenhar teaches core courses within the Content Studies specialization, including The Secret Code of Visual Culture, Content Development Skills, and Format Development. Additionally, she guides students throughout their studies, helping each one pave their unique professional path.
Shenhar’s research explores the interplay between media, culture, and gender. She develops expertise in areas such as family representation, the maternal subject, the beauty myth, new masculinity, reality television, and more.
Shenhar holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Communication and Management from the College of Management and a Master of Arts (M.A.), awarded with highest honors, from Tel Aviv University
