Conferences and Events

The Center for Law and Antisemitism promotes interdisciplinary research and discussion on issues related to antisemitism, law, democracy, and human rights. As part of this mission, the Center initiates and partners in organizing conferences, seminars, roundtables, and professional forums in Israel and internationally.

These events provide a platform for meaningful exchange between scholars from fields such as law, history, sociology, political science, and related disciplines, and between legal professionals, policymakers, public representatives, and civil society actors. Their goal is to deepen the understanding of antisemitism on multiple levels—theoretical, historical, legal, and contemporary—and to foster critical thinking and in-depth discussion on the connections between research, policy, and law regarding antisemitism in its various forms.

Interview with the Center’s New Research Fellow – Dr. Alon Helled

In this interview, Dr. Helled, an Israeli scholar at the University of Turin who specializes in the history of international relations, national identity, and political and social processes in Europe and Israel, speaks about his experiences as an Israeli living in Europe during wartime, his research interests, manifestations of anti-Israelism and antisemitism in Italy, and what Israel can learn from Europe’s handling of hatred and incitement.
