Prof. Orit Fischman-Afori, PhD, LL.B. (Hebrew University of Jerusalem), is a Law Professor at the Striks Faculty of Law, College of Management, Israel; and the President of the International Association for the Advancement of Teaching and Research in Intellectual Property – ATRIP (2024-2026). Prof. Fischman-Afori is also a member of the Israeli Competition Law Tribunal (District Court, Jerusalem) (2017-2025).

Prof. Fischman-Afori served as Dean of the Striks Faculty of Law beginning in 2016 through 2019, as a guest researcher at Cambridge University in 2013 and as a guest researcher at University of California, Berkley in 2007.

Prof. Fischman-Afori’s main fields of research are Intellectual Property, Law and Technology, and Information Law. Professor Fischman-Afori publishes extensively in Israel, Europe and in the US., and she is frequently invited to present her studies in conferences across the globe.

Prof. Orit Fischman-Afori teaches a variety of courses and seminars in the fields of intellectual property and law and technology, as well as the mandatory course in Corporate Law.
