ABOUT
Practical experience is an integral part of the curriculum of the Behavioral Sciences & Psychology School. The school’s practicum program engages students at various NGOs and institutions in the community, beginning from the second year of studies for at least four weekly hours. Students join psychiatric hospitals such as the Abarbanel Mental Health Center, Ness Ziona Psychiatric Hospital, Geha Mental Health Center, boarding schools, childcare centers, youths at risk centers such as Elem-Youth in Distress, Kadima, and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Israel, and other caregiving organization.
The students’ work is guided and supervised by faculty experts. The students thus get an opportunity to gain a hands-on experience and the collaborating organizations benefit from a highly committed and mentored workforce free of charge.
