Uri has extensive professional experience in management positions which include; CEO of the Technion Student Union including its subsidiary companies, VP of an ambitious, young high-tech company in Haifa, information systems manager of the Haifa and Northern regions of the Amidar Public Housing Company, chairman of the active board of directors of the Issta tourism company. He is also an active member of the board of directors and finance committee of the Association for the Soldier.

Uri combined his professional experience with academic teaching of economics in various frameworks such as The Open University, various colleges such as Braude, Ariel and Ben-Gurion University’s branch in Eilat. He has been teaching at the College of Management since 1993.

Uri decided to devote all his time in academia to teaching and education, focusing on teaching economics studies in The Faculty of Business Administration. Uri was the head of economics studies in the faculty for 9 years and the head of mathematics studies in the faculty for 4 years. The emphasis for him is not only on teaching, but also in providing students with a well rounded education, which includes, among other things, imparting values, educating on taking responsibility and an emphasis on independent and critical thinking.

With more than 35 years of experience in academic teaching behind him, Uri believes that the choice of students in high-quality academic studies, such as those offered by COLMAN, will have a decisive impact on the values in which they will operate and on the professional path they will pursue.
